1.2 Miles To Change Global Address

The 1.2 Miles To Change Global Address will launch on August 28, the 57th Anniversary of the momentous March On Washington presided over by Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Junior.

The day of activism begins with speeches led by Reverend Al Sharpton where thousands will later journey in strength and solidarity from the Lincoln Memorial to the historic Martin Luther King Memorial, an approximately 1.2 mile march. There, we will be watching and waiting as our community joins us for the 1.2 Miles To Change Global Address program filled with empowerment, education, and mobilization will begin.

Some of the world’s most powerful and influential voices will address the nation during this time; sharing openly their hearts, words of wisdom, empowerment, encouragement, and ways the collective can create lasting change we so desperately need and deserve.
