1.2 MILES TO CHANGE

2023

WHO WE ARE

The recent wave of civil unrest, hate crimes, and anti-semitic sentiment coupled with the Coronavirus experience has impacted our country in ways we would have never imagined. This reckoning with the current state of things has been met with a call to action. Voters Lives Matter, the national leading alliance of local and national organizations formed in response to the Black Lives Matter Movement, has answered that call and is committed to help ensure ALL Americans are represented EQUALLY in our democracy.

The coalition of organizations that Voters Lives Matter works with engages communities across the country to take action on critical issues—from fighting for working families, to advancing women’s access to healthcare and protecting the environment. Other organizations work tirelessly to promote Census participation and mobilize millions of voters to turnout on election day— particularly voters of color who continue to face voter discrimination and suppression.

The driving force of Voters Lives Matter is to educate, energize, and mobilize millions of Americans to the polls this 2020 election cycle and beyond.

The COVID-19 global pandemic has had a stark impact on communities across the country, altering the very fabric of our daily lives as a record number of people lost their jobs, millions contracted the virus and thousands have died. Voters Lives Matter is focused on ensuring the well- being and security of communities most vulnerable, including people of color, and low-income communities.

THE FUTURE IS VOTING
WE CAN'T DO THIS ALONE

Our country and democracy are stronger when we take action, making Voters Lives Matter. Join the 1.2 Miles To Change Global Address to help make sure your family, friends, school, and neighbors are registered and ready to vote.
